#CHIPS: "Carbon Nanotube Computer Integrated With CMOS"

The world's first carbon nanotube computer has been integrated onto a CMOS chip by researchers at Stanford University, heralding a new era of carbon-based circuitry on standard silicon wafers. Carbon nanotube transistors are higher speed and lower power than silicon transistors, but until now have been impossible to insert into the CMOS design flow.
